Updating payment method

Need to update your credit card or switch payment methods? Here's how to manage your billing information.

Updating your card

  1. 1. Log into your Realm.fun account
  2. 2. Click your profile icon in the top right
  3. 3. Select Billing
  4. 4. Click Update Payment Method
  5. 5. Enter your new card details
  6. 6. Click Save

Your new card will be used for all future charges. No disruption to your servers.

Accepted payment methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe:

  • - Visa
  • - Mastercard
  • - American Express
  • - Discover

We don't currently support PayPal, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency.

If your payment fails

If a payment fails, we'll:

  1. 1. Send you an email notification
  2. 2. Retry the payment automatically after 3 days
  3. 3. Retry again after 5 days if still failing

Your server remains online during this period. If payment hasn't succeeded after 7 days, your server will be suspended (data preserved) until payment is resolved.

Fix it quickly

Received a failed payment notice? Update your card immediately and click "Retry Payment" in Billing to avoid any service interruption.

Common card issues

  • - Card declined: Check that you have sufficient funds and your card hasn't expired
  • - International block: Some banks block international transactions by default. Contact your bank to authorize
  • - Address mismatch: Ensure the billing address matches what's on file with your bank
  • - 3D Secure failed: Complete any verification prompts from your bank

Billing security

Your payment information is handled securely:

  • Card details are stored securely by Stripe, not on our servers
  • All transactions are encrypted with TLS
  • PCI DSS compliant payment processing
  • We never see or store your full card number
