ARK requires minimum 10GB RAM for a small vanilla server (10-20 players). Medium tribes with some mods need 14-18GB for 20-50 players. Large modded servers or cluster nodes with 50-70+ players should use 24-32GB. More mods and larger maps increase requirements.

Yes! Upload your save files via SFTP to /ShooterGame/Saved/. Transfer your .ark map file and player profiles. For cluster transfers, you'll also need tribute data. Character and dino transfers work seamlessly between linked cluster servers.

Use 'destroywilddinos' periodically to trigger respawns and clear memory, limit structure count per tribe, schedule automatic restarts every 6-12 hours, and ensure you have adequate RAM (10GB minimum, 16GB+ recommended). Consider disabling flying dinos in certain areas to reduce lag.

Add Steam Workshop mod IDs to your server's startup configuration, separated by commas. Mods download automatically to /ShooterGame/Content/Mods/. Check mod load order in GameUserSettings.ini if you experience issues. Popular mods include Structures Plus and Dino Storage.

ARK servers take 8-15 minutes to install due to the large download size (~10GB). Once installed, your server is ready to play. Choose your map, set taming and harvest multipliers, and your tribe can start taming dinosaurs immediately.

ARK: Survival Evolved (ASE) is the original game with years of content and mod support. ARK: Survival Ascended (ASA) is the remastered version on Unreal Engine 5 with improved graphics. ASA requires significantly more RAM and CPU. We offer both - choose based on your group's preference.
