Every game has its own configuration options. Here's how to find and change them on your Realm.fun server.
Using the Startup tab
The easiest way to change common settings is through the Startup tab in your server panel. Here you'll find the most important options presented in a user-friendly form:
- - Server name: What appears in server browsers
- - Server version: Which game version to run
- - Max players: Player slot limit
- - Password: Server access password
- - Game mode: Survival, creative, PvP settings, etc.
After changing Startup settings, you'll need to restart your server for them to take effect.
Editing configuration files
For advanced settings not exposed in the Startup tab, you'll need to edit configuration files directly:
- 1. Stop your server (recommended to prevent file conflicts)
- 2. Go to the Files tab
- 3. Navigate to and click on the config file you want to edit
- 4. Make your changes in the built-in editor
- 5. Click Save (or Ctrl+S)
- 6. Start your server
