Installing mods with one click

Last updated: December 2024

Our mod installer makes adding mods and plugins simple—no file uploads or command lines required.

Using the mod browser

  1. 1. Open your server in the dashboard
  2. 2. Go to the Mods tab
  3. 3. Browse or search for the mod you want
  4. 4. Click Install
  5. 5. Restart your server when prompted

That's it. The mod is downloaded, placed in the correct folder, and ready to use.

What's available

Our mod browser includes thousands of mods from trusted sources:

Minecraft

  • - Bukkit/Spigot/Paper plugins from SpigotMC and Bukkit
  • - Forge/Fabric mods from CurseForge and Modrinth
  • - Datapacks and resource packs

Rust

  • - Oxide/uMod plugins

Valheim

  • - BepInEx mods from Thunderstore

Other games

Each supported game has its own mod ecosystem integrated. Check the Mods tab for your specific game.

Managing installed mods

The Mods tab also shows everything currently installed:

  • - Update: One-click updates when new versions are available
  • - Disable: Temporarily disable without uninstalling
  • - Uninstall: Remove completely
  • - Configure: Quick access to mod config files

Version compatibility

The installer automatically shows mods compatible with your server version. If a mod isn't appearing, it likely doesn't support your current game version.

To use a mod that requires a different version:

  1. 1. Go to the Startup tab
  2. 2. Change your server version to one the mod supports
  3. 3. Restart your server
  4. 4. The mod should now appear in the browser

Client-side mods

Some mods need to be installed on players' computers too, not just the server. Check the mod description for client requirements. Players connecting without required client mods may not be able to join.

Dependencies

Many mods require other mods to work (dependencies). Our installer handles this automatically—when you install a mod, any required dependencies are installed too.

Dependencies are shown on the install confirmation screen so you know exactly what's being added.

Create a backup first

Before installing mods, especially multiple at once, create a backup. If something goes wrong, you can restore in seconds.
